MEMBER EXPERIENCE

Multi-Factor Authentication

On 18 August, ISACA will launch multi-factor authentication (MFA) as an optional layer of login security. MFA requires two or more verification methods (factors) to prove a user’s identity before logging in, which makes it difficult for a bad actor to gain access to the account:

  • Something the user knows—the username and password.
  • Something the user has—such as an authentication app on a mobile device

How to opt-in for MFA

Users may choose to opt-in for MFA by logging into isaca.org/myisaca, selecting “Security” from the left menu, ticking the “Enable Multi Factor Authentication” box, and confirming. After opting in, MFA will add a small, extra step to MyISACA login. Contact https://support.isaca.org, if assistance is needed.

REFER AND EARN! – MEMBER GET A MEMBER (MGAM)

Help grow the ISACA community, and your chapter, through the MGAM program, which runs August through December. Those you refer must enter your ISACA Member ID number when joining, which you can locate by logging into isaca.org/myisaca and selecting the Membership Status tab or by contacting support.isaca.org. ISACA CONFERENCES

ISACA Conference Oceania 2022—Register for ISACA Conference Oceania 2022, which will be held free of charge, virtually 8-9 September. The sessions will be held in the Sydney, New South Wales, Australia (UTC+10) time zone. You can check your time zone here. Earn up to 9.5 CPE hours.

ISACA Conference Europe 2022—Early bird discount for the 19-21 October conference:   

  • Through 31 August, members and nonmembers receive a US $200 discount off the in-person registration price (discount does not apply to the virtual rate.)   
  • Through 14 October, members receive a US $300 discount (use code ICEU22CLR) for the in-person and virtual registration prices.

Summary: Before 31 August, members who register with code ICEU22CLR will receive a US $500 discount (US $200 early bird, plus US $300 with the code) off the in-person rate. After 31 August, members who use the ICEU22CLR code will receive a US $300 discount off the member price for in-person or virtual.
